“We received a response that was fast, professional, and innovative. Aran personnel also played a significant role in the design and specifications of the product. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner.
Milkit, in partnership with Tara Dairy, began marketing a new and revolutionary device that it developed to cafes and restaurants – a milk dispenser that avoids the need to cut open dozens of bags of milk every day, or to open carton after carton behind the counter. The Milkit dispenser is already positioned next to the coffee machines at some 50 cafes and restaurants in Israel, enabling the convenient flow of cold milk in a manner similar to water dispensers, using a similar apparatus. The bag of milk that is placed in the dispenser holds 12-14 liters, and is made by Aran, specially tailored to the machine. The device is smart, easy to operate, and combines ease of use and cleaning with features such as light foaming, precise control of the quantity of milk dispensed, reduced waste, and savings in terms of time and money. “The idea of Milkit was born of our personal need as cafe and restaurant owners for a solution that is convenient, effective, cheap, and clean for the problem of pouring milk in large quantities,” says Assaf Blank, owner and CEO of Milkit. “We were sick of the exploding bags and the high milk carton prices, and, in general, we felt that a quicker and more precise solution must be found. We therefore developed Milkit, an innovative and advanced milk dispensing device that brings us into a new era of working with large quantities of milk.” He notes that the decision to go with Aran as a business partner for this venture was easy and natural. “One of the leading operations in the world in our field, and it’s right under our noses? There was no decision easier than this one. At Aran we found a serious partner with vision, seeing the future eye to eye with us. We received a response that was fast, professional, and innovative, with Aran personnel also playing a significant role in the design and specifications of the product. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner.” Milkit’s business plan speaks of entry into 1,500 locations in Israel. “This is a potential for over 2 million refill bags per year, and that’s even before we speak of the planned future penetration to the global market,” concludes Lior Mor, Aran CEO. “We see this collaboration as a strategic initiative with great potential, creating a win-win situation for both sides.”
